Thanks for writing into TD Helps, Gina. Congratulations on opening your own business! We are more than happy to help answer any questions you may have about opening an LLC.
All signers must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process. The account still can be opened even if not all of the signers can be present. The missing signers will not have access to the account until they have physically stepped into a TD Bank Store. To add additional signers to the account at a different time, every signer present at the time of the opening must also be present when adding another person to the account. You may add multiple debit cards to the signers of the account as well. Please note that debit cards issued to non-signers can make transactions on the account but will be restricted from viewing or requesting account related information.
Signers of the account will need the following documents: a vaild photo I. D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc) and their Social Security number. If any of the signers are non-residents of the US, they would need two valid forms of I.D. and a W-8Ben form. Please bring the Tax Identification Number for the business to the Store as well.
Additional documents are needed to open the LLC, such as the documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. You will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
You're welcome to review the types of business accounts that we offer prior to visiting a Store. To view the types of business accounts that we offer, visit: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe .
