We'd be happy to help you prepare for a trip, Michal.
You're able to use your TD debit card anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide. There is no additional charge for making purchases at businesses or online and your debit card will automatically convert the funds to US dollars.
Keep in mind that for the use of a non-TD ATM, a fee may be assessed to your account. To learn more about ATM fees, please visit here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
Prior to your trip, we encourage you to contact a Banking Specialist so they can add a travel notification to your account to avoid acceptance issues. You're able to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, visit any TD Store or send a secure message using online access.
Take a look at TD Stores you'd like to visit here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. Please keep in mind, a travel notification helps us recognize unauthorized transactions on your account. Be advised that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues.
