Once he has decided the type of the account he wishes to open, he may visit www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take him directly to the account opening application. He may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at (888) 751-9000 with any questions he may have and set up his new account via telephone.
As always, he is welcome to stop by his nearest TD Bank store to speak with a Store Representative regarding new account options to determine what product type fits him the best. To find out TD store locations near him, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. He will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
At this time, there is no set amount that he needs to open an account nor he must keep in his account; however, some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee.
Once his new account is set up, he may provide you with his account number and routing number to set up his direct deposits.
