Thanks for reaching out to us with your question, Rosalyn.
In order to use a Power of Attorney (POA) document within TD Bank, the form must not be expired. In addition to having a valid date, it must also have been witnessed and notarized. We can recommend obtaining a new form prior to visiting a TD Bank Store to open an account. For any questions you may have about POA document requirements or how it may be used, please contact your local TD Bank Store, and our contact information may be found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, or give us a call at 888-751-9000 for assistance.
Hope this will help, Rosalyn and best of luck to you! Take care.
