Welcome to TD Helps, Sruthi and congrats on the birth of your son! It's never too soon to start saving and we're glad to provide you with more information.
We have an account that is specifically designed for our young savers. For more information, please check out: http://bit.ly/1gkKBA3. With this account, he could be listed on the account as a minor and it would require a custodian to be on the account as well. The custodian could be you, or anyone over the age of 18. Once the account is opened, only the custodian listed will have access to the funds and access to the account via Online Banking. To open the accounts, you will need to supply a valid identification (Driver's license, state issued photo ID or passport) ,your Social Security Number as well as your son's Social Security number. To open this account you may visit any TD location, for a complete listing check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Sruthi and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
