We're glad you stopped by today with your question, Maria and we'd be more than happy to help.
Please keep in mind that the routing number for your account was assigned when it was opened, and is based on the State where you originally opened your account. Please note that your routing number will remain the same for an account once it is open, even if you move from that State.
For a list of our routing numbers by state, please check out: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF. As you mentioned that you are searching for the routing number for a checking account, you can also find that number on the bottom left side of your check. Feel free to look at http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K for an example.
If you are unsure of the location or State your account was opened in, please contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 so we can provide you with your routing number. You are always welcome to visit us at a TD Bank store near you to get this information as well; please see: http://bit.ly/TDStores for our location finder.
Additionally, if you're ordering checks via your TD Bank Online account, please note that if you haven't already done so, you'll first want to give us a call at the number mentioned above or stop in at a Store to update your address on file.
We hope this is helpful, Maria and don't hesitate to ask any other questions you may have. Enjoy 2015!
