Hello, Sequoya! Welcome to TD Bank and our forum at TD Helps! We'll be glad to help you get to know the features we offer a little better.
We would like to introduce one of the exciting services we offer via www.tdbank.com, our External Transfers feature.
External Transfers are used if you're sending money between your personal account with TD Bank and your account at another Financial Institution, like you mentioned. This option is available via Online Banking and you're welcome to send or receive money using this feature. Kindly note that in order to be eligible to use this service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States-issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address.
If you are already enrolled for Online Banking, please click here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you're not yet enrolled, please find our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. You'll need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit card number, your Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you encounter any difficulty with the enrollment process or don’t have some of the info required, just give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for assistance (if your first deposit has been made) or stop in at any TD Bank Store listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you have logged in, you'll be able to begin scheduling transfers with these steps. First, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule.
After the enrollment is completed, you may continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1jXKYqq for all of the exciting details.
Please note that fees may apply for the External Transfer service. For the Transfers Terms and Conditions please see: http://bit.ly/1lkiC6K, and for more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you find you have any questions about using this service, please contact a Tech Support Specialist anytime 24/7 at 800-493-7562 who can assist you over the phone, or visit your local TD Bank Store.
We hope this is convenient for you, Sequoya and we made your night better! Take care and have a great one.
