Hello Francis. Thank you for stopping by TD Helps today with your question. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.
In order to process an international wire you would need to be in person at a TD Bank Store location. Keep in mind any signers could potentially initiate the international wire. If your account is a joint account and the other signer is not in Ireland, but could get into a TD Bank they could send you the funds. For further information on International Wires please check out: http://bit.ly/1oowsYN Also, for your reference, check out our fee schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If this is not an option for you, but you have personal checks for the account you could write yourself a check for deposit at a bank in Ireland. If this is not an option we could possibly raise your ATM limit for withdrawal. To request a limit increase for ATM withdrawal please log in to your online banking: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you have successfully logged your online account please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message" located under the "Message Center" section. Follow these steps to send your request:
- Choose the General Customer Service heading. The Subject line will be blank. Please enter: Limit Increase.
- In the body of the message provide the following: Account Number or Debit/ATM Card Number • Your Name • Contact Telephone Number • Amount of increase • Indicate - Visa, POS, ATM
- Your request will be completed within 24 hours.
If you're not yet enrolled, please find our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. You'll need your account number, Visa debit card/ATM number, your Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you need assistance setting up online banking please contact us Toll-Free with operator assistance from a land line at, 215-569-0518. One of our live customer service agents will be happy to assist you after proper account verification.
You can also send us a written request via fax. You can send the fax to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138. Please include all of the information above. We also request that you sign the document three times for signature verification.
Please note, limit increases are temporary and the transaction must be completed the same day of the limit increase is granted.
We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule again, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your ATM debit card out of the country.
We hope this information is helpful. Enjoy your time in Ireland, Francis.
