Thanks for reaching us on TD Helps, John. We'd be glad to help. If you had an Auto Loan that was held with TD Bank and as you mentioned, the loan has been paid off, to obtain this documentation, a fax is required. Please fax the following information to our Consumer Release Department at 207-755-4245: • Your full name, address, and Social Security number • The account number, if it is available • The year, make, model and VIN, and the date it was paid off, if available • Your request for Discharge Papers/Release of Lien • Your signature We also recommend including your best contact number and your return fax number so that we can assist you as efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for the request is typically 3-5 business days. If you are asking about a lien release for a Mortgage, we recommend you contact our dedicated Financial Solutions Group Representative directly at 800-937-5020. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience, and are willing to answer any questions you may have regarding either lien release process. You may also stop in to any of our convenient store locations for help. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please note that if your Auto Loan was financed via TD Auto Finance, please contact a TD Auto Finance Representative for instructions to obtain your Release of Lien. They are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm at 1-800-556-8172 to help you. We hope this clears things up, John and have a good day.
