Before you depart, we encourage you to add travel notes on your account. You may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Banking Specialist place travel notification on your accounts. You may also send a Secured Message through Online Banking as well. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at the telephone number listed above.
Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send a secure message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flights, if applicable. If you are unable to call or send an email, you can always visit your local TD Bank and have a Customer Service Representative place the travel notes for you. You are able to use your Debit Card anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide! For few a tips to manage your money when traveling please check out: http://bit.ly/1fO8wKy. When making an ATM withdrawal from an international location, please make sure that the ATM machine displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. The TD Bank Debit Card may also be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance if a compatible ATM is not available. Please note non-TD ATM fees still may apply. Many ATMs outside the United States limit withdrawals to checking accounts only, TD Bank Online can be used to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account should more funds be needed.
