but my previous address is in Ireland and there is no space on the form for a non-US address, so I can't advance in the application. What to do?

As far as the account opening process, as you mentioned that you are a US Citizen and have US Social Security number – there are two options that you may consider to set up your new accounts with us. If you will be traveling to the United States in the near future, you may certainly stop by any of our Store locations in person with a valid photo I.D. You may also speak with one of our 24/7 Banking Specialists via telephone. Please note that during the new account opening process, we will need to verify your identity. And, depending on how long you have been outside the US, your most recent credit history may be taken into consideration for this purpose.
