Hi! I will be travelling to Israel and I am planning to pay with my TD Convenience Checking Debit Card. Will I be charged for making transactions (signature and PIN) in foreign currency? Thank you!

Welcome to the community, Yelena.
We are pleased to let you know that TD Bank does not charge any foreign transactions fees for retail purchases made with your TD Bank Visa debit card. We'd also like to let you know, you can use your TD Bank Visa debit card worldwide, anywhere VISA is accepted. You can also use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. Please note, ATM fees may apply; we encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card out of the country.
Since you are planning on travelling, prior to leaving, we do ask that you place a travel notification on your account before you leave the country so you don't run into any interruptions with your card. To do so, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to place a travel notification on your account(s).
You may also send a Secured Message through Online Banking as well. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, debit card number, Social Security number, and email address. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send a Message. If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable. If you need help enrolling, please contact our Banking Specialist 24/7 at the number provided above.
If you are unable to call or send an email, you can always visit your local TD Bank and have a Customer Service Representative place the travel notes for you. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find TD Bank near you.
Additionally, we also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu.
