Thanks for your question, Patrick. We'd be glad to discuss what may be causing your service interruption.
Please know that there are security features in place for your account that may restrict your debit card if transactions occur too far out of your normal range of activity. To clarify further, if your address is listed in the U.S. and transactions begin occurring overseas your debit card may decline these transactions.
To determine if this is the case for your debit card, we recommend reaching out to a Banking Specialist directly. You are able to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to have a Specialist review your debit card.
You are also able to send a secure message to us. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
As always, you can visit us during lobby hours for further assistance. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We understand that you have shared this information with your daughter; however, we do not recommend sharing account/debit card information, for security reasons, with parties who are not authorized signers on your account.
We recommend discussing alternatives for you and your daughter's banking needs when you reach out directly.
Please know that we would like to assist you directly however, TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and we do not have access to your account/personal information.
We hope to hear from you soon, Patrick. Have a wonderful weekend!
