Welcome to TD Helps, Kowasheia. We're glad to go over funds availability with you.
When making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit, but typically the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
Check deposits made at a TD Bank Store or ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day are considered deposits made on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays. If you make a deposit at an ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit at an ATM after 8:00 PM, or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day. Your funds are generally available on the business day following the date of your deposit.
Please note that there are exceptions that may cause delays in funds availability, including larger deposits. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Additionally, if you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks again for your visit today! We welcome you back anytime with any other questions, and have a nice weekend.
