Hey, Taylor! It is wonderful to have you join us on TD Helps today.
Your TD Checking account will be able to receive a payment from another Financial Institution. We recommend contacting the person sending you the funds for details on what information is required.
Additionally, if you use Online Banking on www.tdbank.com, you'll have the option to request funds from someone else by using our new feature called "Person-to-Person Payments." Not only that, but you can also send funds to another financial institution as well. Check out: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim for all of the exciting details!
If you're not already enrolled for Online Banking and would like to do so please click here: http://bit.ly/1lqyp6rl. You will need your account number, debit card number and email address to get started. Once you're enrolled and logged in, you may click on the "Person-to-Person Payment" tab to send or request money. To sign up, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email address and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will ask you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Please note that Person-to-Person payments can be sent or received within the United States only.
To request payment, you will then need to select the Request Money tab. You will be asked to add a contact to request money from. You'll then need to fill in their first and last name as well as their email address or mobile phone number. Once you select the amount requested and where deposit the funds, the sender will receive a text and email alert notifying them of your request.
Hope this helps, Taylor please let us know if you have any other questions and enjoy your afternoon.

Colleen. I don't think you answered the users exact question. Can we receive QuickPay payments from Chase? And if so what email address does the Chase user enter, and how does the process work

Thanks for joining the conversation, Mike! We'll be happy to clarify this question for you regarding electronic payments.
Based on your question, it sounds like the other party who is sending funds to your TD Bank account would need to verify your email address among other credentials that might be needed to receive the funds in question. With that being said, TD Bank customers can receive funds from other banking institutions.
We do recommend reaching out to the Chase account holder as the information that they may need to send funds to your TD Bank account may differ than the information that is needed to send and receive funds from TD Bank.
Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any TD Bank Store during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Hope this helps and have a good week, Mike. Take care!
