Hi, my boyfriend doesn't have a bank account. He asked me if I can cash his check for him. Would I be able to do so if he sign the back of the check? & would I have to wait to take the money out? Can I take it out the same day?

Welcome to TD Helps, Jasmine.
If the check is made out to your boyfriend, you can deposit the check into your account. To deposit a check written to your boyfriend, if he is not a signer on your account, he must sign the back of the check and both parties must be present at the time of deposit. An Endorsement Authorization & Release form must also be signed and can be done at any TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc to find a Store near you.
Please note; government or insurance checks can only be presented for payment from the person listed on the "Payable to" line of the check.
We also invite you to take a look here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ for more information on our Funds Availability (pages 41-44).
