Hi, my dad accidently did wire transfer from hong kong to my account which is already closed. When i called TD, they said it will take 3-5 days. I have waited for 6 days and the money is not back yet. How long am i supposed to wait?

Hi Wang, thank you for joining us on TD Helps tonight. We'd be glad to answer your question about receiving a transfer.
To receive funds from a wire transfer, the sending bank must include your information as it appears on your TD Bank account. If a wire transfer was submitted incorrectly, then it may be rejected and not successfully received in your account. We would recommend reaching out the financial institution that sent the wire to initiate a trace on it. If the transfer was rejected, then the sending bank should be able to correct the information and attempt to re-send the wire to you.
