Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear of any troubles you may have encountered, Makhan. We'll be glad to provide some direction.
From your message, it seems like your account may have recently been assessed an overdraft fee. Overdraft fees apply to all account overdrafts whether TD Bank pays the item or returns it, and PD normally stands for Paid. We invite you to visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for our current Personal Fee Schedule.
As we would like to assist you directly with your account, unfortunately we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum. To better assist you, you may call us at 888-751-9000 24/7 for assistance. As always, you also have the option of speaking with a Customer Service Representative in person at any of our TD Bank Stores. For a listing of locations and hours, please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Or, if you are enrolled for online banking, you may send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message you must first log in to your TD Bank Online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and on the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.”
You may also considering signing up for a form of overdraft protection to help avoid these types of fees in the future.
A form of overdraft protection that TD Bank offers is an option to link a TD Savings account to your personal TD Checking account as a Savings Overdraft Account. In the case of an overdraft situation, as long as there are sufficient funds in the savings account to cover the negative balance in the checking account, funds will automatically be transferred. For more specific information please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lmjVaq. You may request this option by calling us at 888-751-9000, after account verification, any one of our dedicated Banking Specialists would be happy to help! You may also visit us during lobby hours at any TD Bank Store for further assistance.
Similarly, you can apply for a TD Moneyline Overdraft Protection. For more specific information on this type of overdraft protection take a look here: http://bit.ly/J7b4XR. You can apply online via this link or you can give us a call 24/7 at 800-937-5020.
Hope this provides some help, Makhan and we look forward to hearing from you soon. All the best to you!
