Q1. I will be traveling in US West Coast - will I be able to set up a TD Bank Account anywhere in West Coast?
What will I need to set up a bank account? I will be traveling to Toronto, Canada subsequently. I know that TD Bank has many branches in Canada but I'm not too sure about the US.
Q2. Most of my friends and I bank with DBS and we would wish to transfer money from our SG DBS Accounts to our TD Bank Account in US/Canada. Can you kindly advise on what information we require and what are the steps we need to take to do such a transfer? Would it be advisable for us to convert our SGD currency to CAD first before transferring or simply transfer foreign currency (SGD) to our TD Bank Acccounts?
Really appreciate your help on these issues!
