Thank you for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about any trouble with your deposit! We're happy to help you troubleshoot this issue.
We'd like to let you know that in order to correctly process an ACH transaction (a direct deposit), the sender of your funds must have your correct routing and account numbers, and they must have encoded your account properly as either a checking or a savings account.
To determine more specifically what may have occurred with your deposit, we invite you to give one of our Banking Specialists a call. As our Specialists are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000, kindly note that our ACH Department is available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. If you have a specific question, we recommend reaching us during this time frame so that we can best assist.
You may also like to verify with the sender that your information on file is correct. For your convenience we will list the instructions for finding your routing and account numbers here!
First, if this a deposit for your checking account and have you have some checks, your account number is located on the bottom of your check, to the right of the routing number. Look here: http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K for an example. In addition, if you receive paper statements for your account, your account number is located in the top right corner of your statement.
If you don't have either of these nearby, don't worry because we have more options for you. Another easy way to locate your account number is to log in to your TD Bank Online Banking account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you log in, you will be brought to the Accounts tab, which lists any accounts you have and their full account numbers. Please keep in mind that if you are already banking online and use the TD Mobile App on your phone or other device, it would be necessary to log in to our full site at the link above to view your account number.
If you don't bank online with TD Bank yet, we invite you to contact a Specialist 24/7 the number mentioned above, who can enroll you after account verification during your call.
You will also need to make sure you have the correct TD Bank routing (ABA) number for the deposit. If you don't already have this, please note that routing numbers are based on the State where you originally opened your account. For a list of our routing numbers by State, please visit: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF.
Otherwise, to check on any of this information including your deposit you are welcome to visit any TD Bank store location during our convenient lobby hours. Please find a store near you at http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this is helpful and please let us know of any other questions! Have a great one.
