Great seeing you here on TD Helps, Asim! We'll be happy to respond to your question today.
TD Bank 1098 Tax Forms are issued for home equity products, and these were generated and mailed by January 31, 2015 if your accounts paid a minimum of $600.00 in interest for the tax year of 2014. Please note that interest forms are not available online and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We do have options for you to find out how much interest you've earned. First, this information can be found at the bottom of your last statement for the 2014 year. If you like, you can also reach our Financial Solutions Group Specialists 24/7 at 800-937-5020 for information about your loans.
If you have paid more than $600.00 in interest for the tax year of 2014; however, have not received one, you will have a few ways to request a copy. You may give us a call as mentioned above, send a Secure Message or visit any TD Bank Store. You may choose which option is most convenient for you!
To send a secure message you must first be enrolled in Online Banking and to start the process please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a secure message by selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." In your secure message, please be sure to include the account numbers, your current address and the reason you're requesting a copy (i.e. lost other copy, did not receive original). If you don't have some of the required information, feel free to reach us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for assistance.
We hope this answers your question, Asim! Thanks again for writing in and have a wonderful day.
