Thanks for making a stop at TD Helps, Alexander.
Before you close your accounts with us, we'd like to let you know that we are committed to your satisfaction as a Customer. If you have any inquiries or concerns about your banking experiences, we invite you to discuss them with us at a TD Store - please find your closest Store and lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Or, reach a Banking Specialist at 888-751-9000 and we can certainly address any questions you may have.
Should you still decide to close your accounts, we understand and would be glad to help. Seeing that you are writing to us from Wilmington, you may visit us during lobby hours and we'd be happy to help with your request. If you still have funds on both accounts, our Specialists would be happy to help you withdrawal the funds and close your accounts.
Please note, prior to closing your account, please be sure to have your balance reflect a zero balance. If you are unable to visit us and still have funds in the account, you may wish to visit an ATM to withdrawal the funds. Please keep in mind that if you use a non-TD ATM, you may assess a non-TD ATM fee. For more details, please check out: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Once your accounts reflect a zero balance, you may contact us directly at the number above. After account verification, we'd be happy to help. You may also send a secure message via your TD Online Banking. To send a secure message, after you log in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, please select the "Send a Secure Message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center."
If you have not enrolled, that is okay. To start the process, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Please give us a call if you experience any difficulties enrolling.
When closing your accounts via secure message with via telephone, please allow 3-5 business days for your request to be processed and updated.
We hope this helps and hope you have a great day.
