I'm receiving money from someone in Canada but every time I try to accept the money they have me sign in to the account. Only problem is that the link sent to me takes me to the Canadian website and it would not accept my American account. What can I do to confirm the transfer?

Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Kristina. We'd be happy to provide options on how to successfully accept money transfer.
It sounds like you are trying to receive a transfer from someone who banks with us in Canada. Our friend up North – Jennifer – has answered a similar question that we think you may find helpful: http://bit.ly/1OBRG2I.
If you are looking to receive a wire transfer, you would first need to determine how the funds are going to be sent – in U.S. Dollars or foreign currency. For international wire transfers being sent to your TD Bank account in U.S. Dollars, you should provide the following information:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware
ABA (Routing): 0311-0126-6
Credit to: Beneficiary's Full Name, Beneficiary's Address, Beneficiary's Account Number
Please note, for incoming international U.S. Dollar wires, no SWIFT Code should be needed; however, in some cases the sending bank still may ask for a SWIFT Code. If they do, please provide: "NRTHUS33XXX."
For any incoming wire transfer that is being sent in foreign currency, you will need to provide the following:
Correspondent Bank SWIFT Code: TDOMCATTTOR
Correspondent Bank: The Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5k 1A2
Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code: NRTHUS33XXX
Beneficiary Bank: TD Bank, N.A., 6000 Atrium Way, Mount Laurel, NJ, USA 08054
In Favor of: Beneficiary's Account Number (Your account number)
Beneficiary Full Name: Your name as it is listed on the account
Beneficiary Address: Your full address
Please know that we post all incoming wires received from the Federal Reserve until 6:30pm on the current banking day. At this time, we will not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and will return them to the sender.
If the person sending you the funds decides to send you a bank draft, then to deposit the foreign check we invite you to review some helpful information we have listed below before making this deposit:
-The international check must have an equivalent value of at least US $100.00.
-Rates used for currency conversion are provided by TD Bank traders. We do not use rates printed by third parties in newspapers or published online.
-For your protection, the item should be hand delivered to a Store and not mailed. Please do not deposit foreign checks by using the ATM or via Mobile Deposit.
-The conversion rate applied will be on the day the check is received in the Foreign Check Collection department. Additionally, fees may apply for these services, please take a look at our current Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Please note that there are exceptions that may cause delays in funds availability. We invite you to look at our Deposit Account Agreement here for personal accounts: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits. For foreign check deposit funds availability, please refer directly to page 41 for additional information, and please note that funds availability may be delayed for new account holders as well.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at the number listed above or stop by any TD Store locations in your area. To find TD Stores near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Kristina and have a good day.
