I have an IRA at TD Bank. Do I have to appear in person to add more money to that account?

Welcome to TD Helps, Connie!
This is a fantastic question.
Here at TD Bank, in order to make a contribution to either a Traditional or ROTH Individual Retirement Account, we ask that you visit a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but if you'd like, you're more than welcome to use the link here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your nearest TD Store location, as well as their lobby hours, and contact information.
Before your visit, we'd like to recommend speaking a Customer Service Representative at your nearest TD Store location. The information that may be needed to complete an IRA contribution may vary on a case by case basis, and a Representative at your nearest TD Store location will be happy to confirm this information with you before your visit.
If you'd like, you're also welcome to speak with one of our IRA Specialist for further assistance. To reach an IRA Specialist, you may simply dial 1-800-231-8193, Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm, as well as Saturday, 9am to 1:30pm.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Connie!
Have an amazing Tuesday!
