Thank you for visiting TD Helps today, Marvin. We will be glad to assist you.
If you would like to place a stop on a bill pay check or a paper check you issued, please note that it can only be stopped if your payee has not yet presented this check for payment.
You may request a stop payment via your TD Online Banking. To request a stop payment online, you will need to first log on to your online banking. If you have personal TD accounts and are signed up for our Retail online banking, please check here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you are a TD Bank BusinessDirect user, please direct your browser to http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
We also recommend giving us a call 24/7 to speak with a Customer Service Representative at 888-751-9000. Our Representatives would be happy to assist you in placing a stop payment upon account verification.
In addition, you may also stop by your nearest TD Bank Store location to request the stop payment request in person. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, depending on your Checking account type, there may be a fee applied for a stop payment. Fees are subject to change. Please visit: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our fee schedule.
Let us know if you have any other banking questions. Have a fabulous day!
