I purchased an item via paypal and did not realize the item was priced in Euros not USD so the amount is very large. The seller is from the UK and I was wondering if I could cancel the payment if it is still pending.

Welcome to TD Helps, Jayleene! We'd be happy to help you.
There are several ways that you may cancel a debit card transaction. We'd like to go over the options with you.
If the transaction was made by using your TD Bank Debit Card (the card linked to your Checking account), and it is currently in Pending status, in order to have the funds released, the vendor may fax a letter to us on their letterhead to the attention of Fulfillment at 1-856-533-1138. They need to include the following:
1. Date of authorization
2. Your full debit card number
3. The exact amount debited
4. A brief statement from a representative expressing that they authorize the hold to be released.
If the transaction has already been posted to your account, you may contact the merchant directly to determine if the merchandise can be returned and funds can be refunded. Please note; because of the Merchant Return Policy, it is recommended contacting the merchant first to determine the possibility of refunds.
