Welcome to TD Helps, Sherelle.
First, we'd like to let you know that we are committed to your satisfaction as a Customer. If you have any questions or concerns about your banking experiences, we invite you to discuss them with us at a TD Store. Please find your closest Store and lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you still decide to close your account, we do offer a variety of ways to do so. If your account has remaining funds in it, you can visit a TD Store during lobby hours to finalize the account. They'll either disburse the funds in cash or by Official Check. If you have remaining accounts here with us, you can always transfer funds from your Convenience account to a separate one. To do so, you can give us a call 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Once your balance is at $0, our Representatives can assist you in closing the account.
You may also request your account to be closed via Online Banking once your balance is $0 by sending a secure message. Please log in to your account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and once logged in, visit the Customer Service tab. The "Send a Message" link will be available there for you to make your request. Please be sure to include the account number of the account you'd like to close.
if you are not enrolled, that is okay. To begin the enrollment process, please select this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, ATM/VISA debit card number and your email address. If you have any trouble please feel free to contact us by dialing the 24/7 number listed above or by visiting a TD Store.
Another option would be to request your account to be closed by mail. Please mail your written, signed, and notarized request to your TD Bank home Store.
Please be sure to provide your account number so we may issue you a check for the remaining funds in your account as well as your final statement. If you are unsure as to which location is your home Store, you can take a look at the link mentioned above or give us a call.
If you have any checks, you can always write yourself a check for the remaining funds in the account and deposit them at a different institution or to another account. Once your account balance shows $0.00, you can call us directly for your accounts to be closed. You may do so 24/7 by dialing the number listed above.
We hope this helps, Sherelle and have a good afternoon.
