We appreciate your question – thanks for getting in touch with us!
We'd like to let you know that right now, TD Bank Visa Debit cards are able to use 4-digit PINs. We apologize that we're unable to offer you a 6-digit PIN at this time. While you're in China, if you are not able to use the "Debit" portion of your card requiring a PIN, you would still be able to use the "Credit" portion (which typically requires a signature) if this option is offered. In addition, if you need to withdraw cash, you would be welcome to visit a bank in China to request a cash advance from your card.
So that you're aware, your TD Debit card has daily limits placed on it. For information on your daily limit amounts, please take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 43-44).
We hope this is helpful, Man. We see that you're writing to us from Vienna right now; if you'd like to get in touch with us from there, you can contact us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. For your convenience, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Or, if you prefer and you are enrolled for Online Banking, you may send us a Secure Message for any assistance you need. To send a secure message you must first log in to your TD Bank online profile at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Then, on the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
Thanks again for getting in touch!
Enjoy your travels and take care.
