I have a TD bank check from a customer. Before I deposit it, I'd like to make sure it will clear because I have had problems with checks from this customer in the past.

While we're unable to verify funds on a check, you may be able to bring the check to a local TD Bank Store to cash it with a teller. If the check is made out to you, rather than a business, we should be able to accept the check to be cashed if funds are available.
If you're unable to visit us in person, or the check is payable to your business, we recommend bringing it to your bank for deposit. If you're concerned the check may return unpaid, we recommend waiting before using the funds on the check. It can take up to 5-7 business days for a check to return, depending on processing.
