Thank you for dropping by TD Helps today, Edmund. We would hate to see you close your account.
Please know that we may have other accounts which may better suit your needs. Feel free to visit http://bit.ly/1r5N0DG for additional savings account types which we offer. If you discover that there is a better account type for you please contact us via telephone 888-751-9000, 24/7 or visit any TD Bank location to request the change.
If you do decide on closing your relationship savings account your account must be at a zero balance. If you have other existing accounts with us, you can transfer funds from your relationship savings account to bring it to a zero balance by going online or calling Customer Service. You may then send us a secure message to request the account to be closed. To send a secured message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. If you are not set up for Online Banking, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, Social Security number and ATM/debit card handy to complete the enrollment process.
If your account is at a zero balance you also have the option requesting to close your relationship savings account by calling us 24/7 at (888) 751-9000.
You may also visit any one of our TD Bank locations during lobby hours to close your relationship savings account. For locations and hours near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope you find this information useful and enjoy the rest of your day!
