I'm not living in the usa anymore and i would like to close my account. Is there any way to do it online?

Thank you for your question, Mariana. We're sorry to hear that you'd like to close your account.
First, we'd like to take this opportunity to share with you that we are committed to being available when you need us. As you've mentioned that you've moved outside of the U.S., we do have some options we'd like to share with you to do all of your banking without the need to visit a TD Bank Store.
With our Online Banking, your accounts are easy to manage! Whether you're checking your account balance or reviewing your account history, our Online Banking services have you covered.
If you are enrolled for Online Banking, you may log in anytime here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. To view your most recent statement, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on the accounts link at the top of the screen
2. Click on the account number you would like to view statements on
3. Click on the “Statements” tab.
4. Choose the statement period you would like to view and click “View Statement”
5. You may then click the print icon if you would like to print a copy of your statement
If you are not currently enrolled, you can sign up by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card Number, Social Security Number and email address to sign up.
If you are missing any of the information needed, you are able to call us from outside the U.S. by dialing 856-751-9000 or you can call collect from a landline at 215-569-0518. After account verification, our Representatives will be glad to help you enroll.
If you still wish to close your TD Bank account, we understand and have some instructions with you.
If your account is currently at a zero balance, you may contact us directly at the numbers provided above. After account verification, our Representatives would be happy to help.
If you are enrolled in Online Banking, you can also send a secure message after logging in to your online account mentioned above. After logging in, select the "Customer Service" tab and use the "Send a Message" link to submit your request. Be sure to specify the account number.
If your account has remaining funds, you are able to close your account via mailed written request. You may request to close your account and have any available money in your account be sent to you by check. Please include the following:
▪Your account number(s)
▪Your request to close the account(s)
▪Your current address
For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to:
