Dear TD Bank,
i would like to close my bank account because i`m not living anymore in US. I had personal problems so i could not close it while i still was in the country. I would like to know what i`m supposed to do?
PS: I can not enter in my "Online Banking" account, and i do not know the exact amount of money that i have on my debit card.

We're sorry to hear that you'll be leaving us, Ivan but we understand that banking needs change and we'd be happy to help you in this process.
You mentioned that you were closing your account due to moving far from a TD Store, we'd like to inform you that we can provide options on how to maintain your account. TD Bank offers Bill Pay, Online, and Mobile Banking. Check http://bit.ly/1lnLZE5 for more details.
If you still want to close your account and you have a current balance, you can send a request to close your account by mail. Please mail your written, signed, and notarized request to:
TD Bank, N.A.
Your Home Store Address
Your Home Branch Telephone Number
Please be sure to provide your account number so we may issue you a check for the remaining funds in your account as well as your final statement. If you are unsure of which Store is your Home Store, take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores for hours and locations.
As you've mentioned that you're currently unable to log in to Online Banking, you are able to contact us from outside the U.S. by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518. Once you are able to log in again, you are able to review your balance so that you may debit the remaining funds in your account.
You are able to do this by making debit card transactions or writing a check if you have a checking account. Once your balance is $0.00 you are able to call us using the numbers listed above or send us a secure message from Online Banking in order to close your account.
We hope this information helps, Ivan and if you have any other questions please let us know.
