Hi Mercedes! That's a great question.
For situations just like this, we offer mobile deposit. As the deposit limit increases the longer you've been our Customer, you may be able to use this service to deposit your check if your account's been open with us longer than 6 months.
If you have a mobile phone or tablet, simply download the TD Bank app and log in to your online banking profile. Once logged in, select the account in which you'd like to make the deposit and then click on the camera icon that says 'Deposit' beneath it. You'll be asked to photograph the front and back of your check. Once submitted, we will begin processing the deposit. If the deposit is done prior to 8PM on a business day, you should have funds available the next business day. There are instances when we may need to hold a check deposit for additional verification. If you do not have access to a smart phone or tablet and or you're unable to deposit a check of this amount, you can make the deposit through an ATM using your debit card. Check and cash deposits can be done at any Cirrus or PLUS shared ATM. This can be done in the U.S. only and would not work if you were traveling abroad. Please note that deposits done at Non-TD Bank ATMs may take 5 business days to clear. Another option you have to make this deposit is to use our Bank-by-Mail address. Please include a deposit slip or sheet of paper with your full name, account number, current address on file and signature to ensure we credit the correct account. Please use this address:
