Hello Lucille, we appreciate you joining us on TD Helps today.
To make a direct deposit into an account, you'll need the routing and account number, along with account type (checking versus Savings). In your case you would want the depositor to be aware that the deposit will be made into a Savings account.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that our routing numbers are based on the state where you originally opened your account. Here is a list of our current routing numbers: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF. If you do not remember where your account was opened, one of our Banking Specialist can help, upon account verification. Feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Also, you can visit us during lobby hours to confirm this information. For a list of Store locations and hours, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Your Savings account number can be found on your paper statements which is located at the right top corner of the page. Another way to obtain the account number is by visiting a local TD Store.
Please be informed that for the security of your account information, we do not provide account numbers via e-mail or over the phone.
If you are enrolled for our Online Banking, another way to view your account number is on the "Accounts" tab of your Online Banking homepage. If you are currently not utilizing TD Bank Online Banking but would like to be enrolled, please review the following information. Even though the account number is needed to use the self-service feature via www.tdbank.com to enroll for Online Banking, we are happy to say, there are other ways you can enroll. You can contact us directly at the same telephone number listed above to speak with one of our Specialists. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help! If you are unable to verify your account or if you prefer to sit with a Customer Service Representative, you may also visit us during lobby hours and a nearby TD Store. Once enrolled, you will have complete access to your online account where you will be able to view your account number, balance and transactions, and other great features TD Bank offers with Online Banking.
We'd also like to invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1sSvhT6 where you can view and print our already prepared form. Once you print it, just fill in your personal information and hand the completed form to your employer and they'll do the rest.
It was nice to have you join us today and have a great day.
