Thank you for connecting with us on TD Helps from India, Rahul.
As you've mentioned that you're currently outside the U.S., to send an outgoing international wire transfer, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store location upon your return. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to provide the name and address of the receiving bank, as well as their SWIFT/BIC code. You will also need the name on the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. Additionally, we recommend connecting with the financial institution receiving the wire transfer in India to determine if they require additional information.
We utilize the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks to transfer funds to banks overseas. These banks might charge a fee for their services, and the correspondent and/or intermediary bank might deduct these fees from the wire transfer amount. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender. For more information on fees for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Just in case that you're not planning to return to the U.S. in the near future, please know that you do have the option to issue a check from your TD Checking account (if this is the account type you have) and deposit into your bank account in India.
If you need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us via telephone.
