I've had a savings account since 2004 and have gone through two passbooks in that time. I am on the last page of my current one. Today when I was at the book I asked about getting a new one, but the teller said something about them not having any in at the moment and me not being on their record, or something like that. I was not at my original location because I am in college and went to the location nearest me. Do I need to go back to my original bank to get a new passbook?
