Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear you've encountered some difficulties completing your account application,
Siomara. We appreciate you opening a new account with us though and it'll be our pleasure to help!
First, we do recommend checking in with us to ensure that the account was opened as you expected. You can connect with us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and we'll be glad to tell you if the account is active.
We apologize if you weren't able to complete a deposit online with us during the opening process. Once the online application is closed, a deposit must be made using an alternate option, such as visiting us at any TD Bank Store or via mail. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
If you prefer to mail in your deposit, please use these instructions:
TD Bank, N.A., ME2-001-033, P.O. Box Number 1190, Lewiston, ME 04243
If you would like to send us your deposit via FedEx or UPS, you may send it here:
TD Bank, Bank by Mail, 140 Mill Street, Lewiston, ME 04243
Like any other deposits, a few simple guidelines apply:
-Cash should not be sent through the mail
-Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
-If you don't have a deposit ticket, please include your name and account number on a separate slip of paper
-Checks should be endorsed and restricted for deposit only
-Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
-Do not staple transactions
If you were referring to obtaining your account number rather than making your initial deposit, feel free to step inside any Store at the link provided above, and we'll be glad to provide you this number. Or, once your initial deposit is made, give us a call at the first number mentioned and we'll help you set up your Online Banking account, through which you can view your account number as well.
Also, if you opened a checking account with us, get to know your new account a little more by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1D7QIEH!
Thanks again for choosing TD Bank, Siomara and hope this helps! We look forward to our continued business together!
