Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question.
If this is in reference to personal Online Banking, we apologize; however, do not offer a sub-user functionality at this time.
If you have a business account, you may set up sub-users to take on specific roles when using BusinessDirect. Roles can be added, edited and deleted from the Manage Roles page in your BusinessDirect Online Banking account for your business. To add a role, please complete the following:
1. Log in to BusinessDirect by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8
2. Click on “Users”
3. Click on "Manage Roles"
4. Type in role name and role description
5. Choose account access for the role
6. Click on “Save Role”
On this page you will set-up the specific access and permissions to the BusinessDirect site. To give the ability to only view accounts, you would assign the account portfolio to account access only. Note: Sub-users cannot be deleted; they can only be marked as disabled and would not be able to log in to the site. Sub-users have their own User ID, password, security questions and answers. When a sub-user signs on for the first time, he or she will have to go through the same process of changing the password, accepting the User Agreement and setting up security questions.
If you are having trouble setting up a sub-user through TD Bank BusinessDirect, you’re always welcome to give us a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562 option 2 to speak with a Small Business Banking Specialist. They will be able to walk you through the process and answer any additional questions you may have.
Hope the rest of your week is fantastic.

Welcome to TD Helps, Shirls.
As you mentioned that you are attempting to provide one of your BusinessDirect Users with their User ID and Password, we'll be more than happy to provide you with the steps you may need to do so!
First, you'll want to log into your BusinessDirect by using the link here: https://go.td.com/1rvBmq8. Once you have successfully logged in, you'll next want to click on the 'Users' tab, which you can find towards the top of your screen. As you mentioned that you have already added your User, you'll next want to click on their User ID, where you will then be brought to a screen when you can edit this specific User's information, such as their User ID, name, phone number, email address, and even specific roles that you'd like to assign to them.
From this same screen, you are also able to change their password, and to do so, simply click on the blue hyperlink that reads 'Reset Password', where you or your employee may enter in their desired password.
If you have any trouble at all with editing your User's information, please don't hesitate to connect with one our Small Business Banking Specialist, 24/7, by simply dialing 1-800-493-7562, option 2. You're also, as always; welcome to visit a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this helps, Shirls, and thanks again for joining us!
Take care, and have a great weekend!
