Great question, Patrick, and thanks for stopping by TD Helps for your answer. We are happy to assist you!
TD Bank Online supports a direct connection to versions of Quicken 2011 or newer and QuickBooks for Windows 2011 and newer. This applies to both personal and business accounts. Please check here http://bit.ly/1qZmwc7 for more information.
In order to connect Quicken to your TD Bank accounts, you must first enroll for Online Banking.
If you wish to enroll for Online Banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and email address. Once at the page, you will be asked to choose "Personal" or "Business." When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
In case that you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
If you have business accounts and would like to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect, and you have your ATM/debit card, please follow the link above and choose Business from the drop down box. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, your business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your initial User ID and password.
If you do not have an ATM/debit card for your business, please visit your local TD Bank Store for further assistance. For hours and locations near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you enrolled for Online Banking, the pertinent information to integrate to your bank accounts to Quicken is as follows:
Financial Institution – TD Bank Online Banking (for personal online banking users)
Financial Institution – TD Bank BusinessDirect (for BusinessDirect users)
Your Customer ID is your User Name for TD Bank Online
Your PIN is the Password used for TD Bank Online
If TD Bank-Online Banking or TD Bank BusinessDirect does not appear in your list of financial institutions, please follow the manufacturer's instructions to update your software and financial institution list.
We hope the information provided help, Patrick. Let us know if you have any further questions. Enjoy the rest of your day!
