When I tap my debit card it uses chequing account by default. What do I need to do so that it can use savings account instead?

If you're referring to your TD Bank debit card, please know that at this time the primary account linked to your debit card must be a checking account. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience this may cause.
Keep in mind that you are able to link other accounts to your debit card for use at the ATM. To link other accounts you may have to your debit card, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance. You are able to call our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000, visit any TD Store while you're in the U.S. or send us a secure message via Online Banking.

To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
