Good question, Carlos! We'll be glad to provide some useful information on how you can open an account with us.
In order to open an account with us from abroad, you would need to be a US citizen or resident. If you are, you may be able to open an account with us over the telephone. Please give us a call 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or via collect with operator's assistance from a non-mobile telephone at 00+1-215-569-0518. If you're not a US resident, then you'd need to open the account with us in person at any TD Bank location during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
If you need to or prefer to visit us to open the account, you'll need to bring two forms of ID, one of those ID's must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
If you have any additional questions, feel free to give us a call at the telephone numbers listed above. We hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your day, Carlos!
