I may plan a trip to Toronto to visit my relatives. A TD gift card for my own use may be convenient for me but there are no branches where i live. Can I order them by mail with a money order?
Also, exactly what information is required to register.

Good day Laureen, we understand your concerns and would be happy to help.
Please note, to order a TD Gift Card, you must be a TD Customer. Although you can only purchase TD Gift Cards at any TD Store location, we understand this may be difficult as you've mentioned you are not located near a TD Store. However; we are happy to inform you that if you are a TD Customer, you get free access to more than 4,700 TD ATMs in the U.S. and Canada and you can visit one of nearly 1,300 TD Bank locations from Maine to Florida or 1,100 TD Canada Trust locations.
Prior to travelling to Toronto, we do recommend placing a Travel Notification on your checking and/or savings account before you leave. To place a travel notification, you can call our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or, if you are able to, by visiting your local TD Bank Store, for a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are setup for online banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. Please include your travel destination(s) and travel dates. If you are not enrolled for online banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY . You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, his account number, and his e-mail address. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account(s). If you need assistance enrolling, you can contact us directly at 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Specialists. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help! If you are unable to verify your account or if you prefer to sit with a Customer Service Representative, you may also visit us during lobby hours and a nearby TD Store.
We hope this helps Laureen. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
