Good question, Stacey and we're happy to respond here on TD Helps.
If you wish to, you may add your block and lot numbers in the memo line. Please know that your name and address should be printed on your online bill pay checks automatically. The purpose of the memo line for TD Bank Online Banking paper checks is similar to the memo line on your personal paper checks. It is an alpha-numeric field; please refrain from using any special characters such as a slash or ampersand.
The payee will receive the memo information only if the TD Bank Online Banking payment is remitted via paper check and not as an electronic transmittal. To add a memo to a payment, please follow the below steps after logged on to your online banking profile:
1. Click on the “Bill Pay” tab located at the top of your screen.
2. Enter your payment information next to the appropriate payee and select “Make Payments”
3. On the “Review Payments” screen, input any additional payment information in the “Memo” field.
4. Click “Submit Payment”
If you need additional assistance with adding memo or you have any other questions about our online bill pay service, we invite you to contact our 24/7 Tech Support Team directly at 800-493-7562. You may also stop by your local TD Bank Store location, during lobby hours to be assisted in person. To find out the nearest TD Store locations and hours near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps, Stacey, we hope you have a great day!
