Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Meryl. We'd be more than happy to help.
If you wish to, you may enroll for paperless statements. Enrolling to online statements is safer, environmentally-friendly, and it helps you save!
In order to enroll for paperless statements, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have an ATM/Debit Card and U.S. Social Security number, you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you’ve successfully logged in, please follow the steps below:
-Please click on the “Customer Service” tab
-Select the “Online Statement Settings” link which is located under the self-service portion (it will be the sixth link down) or in the "Help & Related Tasks" box (which is located on the left side of the page).
-Please select the account(s) you would like to enroll for Online Statements. Make sure the email address on file is correct.
-You will then be asked to read the “Online (Paperless) Statement Customer Agreement” and the “Hardware and Software Requirements”. Once you have opened and reviewed the 2 documents needed, please check mark the two boxes and select “Save Changes”.
Just in case if you are having difficulties setting this up or you don't have U.S. Social Security number at this time, you can call our Digital Banking Specialists at 800-493-7562. After account verification, our Digital Banking Specialists, who are available 24/7, would be happy to walk you through this. You could also stop by your local TD Store for assistance. Good afternoon, Jack, and thanks for joining in on the conversation.
For more information on how you may go paperless, and have any paper statement fees waived in the future, we recommend reviewing Megan's answer above, as her response is still the most accurate and up to date way in which this may be completed.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact a Banking Specialist at 1-888-751-9000, 24/7, or a Customer Service Representative, during lobby hours, at your local TD Store location. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
