We'd first like to welcome you to the TD Family and appreciate you coming to TD Helps with your question, Raul. We would be happy to guide you in the right direction.
If you know your user name and need to reset your password, you can do so by using the Self-Service feature via the TD Bank site. Please click here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, then select the "Trouble Logging In" link located beneath the password field. You will now be at the "Reset Your Password" page; there are 4 steps you'll need to go through in order to reset your Online Banking password. Step 1 is to select the account type and input your user name along with the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. Steps 2 & 3 will ask you to answer security questions. After successfully answering the security questions you will then be taken to step 4 where you will be able to create and confirm your new password.
When creating your new password, here are a few tips we'd like to share with you:
- Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
- Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
- Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
- Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically,
ideally every 90 days
If you are unable to provide the information needed, that is okay! There are other options we can provide for you to regain your online access. You can call us directly at 800-493-7562. Our Digital Banking Specialists are available 24/7, for your convenience. We hope this helps, Raul. Have a good day!
