I would like to go paperless for my checking account statements.

We appreciate the visit to TD Helps, Denise. We are happy to help with instructions on how to sign up for paperless statements.
In order to sign up for paperless statement, you must first be set up for Online Banking. If you have not enrolled yet, you can do so for free by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You'll need your account number, Social Security number and your ATM/debit card number. If you run into any problems while enrolling or if you do not have your ATM card handy, please contact us at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Banking Specialist 24/7. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to assist! You may also visit your local TD Store for assistance. You can stop by the Store you opened the account at or for a list of Stores near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once you've enrolled for Online Banking, you will have immediate access to view your account information. To sign up for paperless statements, please select the "Online Statement Settings" link listed under the " Help & Related Tasks" box on the left side of your screen or you could select the "Customer Service" tab and under "Self Service, click on "Online Statement Settings" link. After selecting the necessary link, you will now be at the "Update Online Statement Settings" page. Please select the account(s) you'd like to change the statement settings for, confirm your email address, and also read the "Online (Paperless) Statement Customer Agreement" and the "Hardware and Software Requirements", a window should pop up. After reading the required documents, please check the boxes and select "Save Changes".
You will now receive an email notification when a statement is available for viewing. To view a copy of a statement, you can do so by selecting the "Statements" tab under "Account History".
