Welcome to TD Helps, Trudie. We'd be glad to help you determine if your official check was negotiated!
There are a few ways you're able to determine if an official check you've purchased was negotiated by the payee.
First, you are able to call us at 888-751-9000 to speak to a Banking Specialist. They would be glad to confirm with our Official Check Specialists if the item has been negotiated. Be sure to contact us Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm! Before your call, be sure to have the official check number handy.
You are also able to send us a secure message if you have the official check number available. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in. Make sure to include the official check number in your message as well as the amount of the check.
If you do not have the official check number, you are able to visit the TD Store you used to make the official check purchase for assistance. You are able to review TD Stores and their hours here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope these options help, Trudie. Have a great day!
