Good Day and thank you for stopping by TD Helps. We are more than happy to provide assistance with bank transfer options.
External Transfers are used if you're transferring funds between your personal account with TD Bank and your account at another Financial Institution within the United States.
In order to be eligible to use this service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a personal TD Bank Checking Savings or Money Market account for the transfer.
To use this service you would need to be enrolled in Online Banking. If you're not already enrolled, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, debit card number and email address to get started. Once you're enrolled, you can initiate the transfer by using the "Transfers" tab. After selecting the "Transfers" tab you will then have to click "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You would have to add your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated for verification purposes.
For the Terms and Conditions of this service, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD. If you have any additional questions, please contact our Tech Support Specialists for assistance 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
Another transfer type available to you is wire transfers. It is necessary to provide the following information to any individual or financial institution wiring funds into your TD account:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A Wilmington, Delaware
Credit to: Your Full Name and Account Title, Your Address, Your Account Number
We will post all incoming wires on the banking day they are received. Wire transfers sent by US Dollars can be received until 6:30 PM EST. Also, we do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and we return them to the sender. For more info on the fee for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We also recommend reaching out to your other financial institution to determine other possible options they may provide.
We hope you find this information useful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
