Thanks for submitting your question on TD Helps today, Bilhah! We'll be more than happy to provide some information on electronic transfers.
If you are looking to transfer funds from an account you have with another financial institution to your TD Bank account, we recommend contacting the other banking institution for information on how to transfer funds electronically to your TD Bank account.
If you are looking for information on how to transfer funds from a family or friend who is with another financial institution to your TD Bank Account, you have the option of requesting the funds via our Person-to-Person transfer feature. To use these services you must have an Online Banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. phone number, an active unique e-mail address, and a Social Security Number. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and Online Banking transfers. For more information, read the Terms & Conditions: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Digital Banking Specialists, 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
Once you have logged into your Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. This feature is available for most personal checking and money markets accounts. The “Person-to-Person” tab should show at the top of your page after logging into your TD Bank Online Banking. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and the email address we have on file for you. Next, we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to request money by clicking on "Request Money" and entering the requested information and the recipient will get a link to pay your request. You will need the recipient's email or mobile number. Once the request is processed, you should expect to receive the requested funds into your account in the next three business days.
Please note, there are limits in place for your protection. If you have any questions or need assistance, our Digital Banking Specialists are available 24/7.
You also have the option to send a wire to your TD Bank account. You'll need to provide your complete name, as it appears on your account and your full account number. You'll also want to specify that the funds should be wired to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware. For more information on fees for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Please let us know if you have any questions and have a great day!
