Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Jessica. We'd be happy to go over your transfer options!
If you are looking to transfer funds from your TD Checking account to your sister's TD Checking or Savings account, you may use the Person-to-Person payment feature.
In order to be eligible for using Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a TD Bank personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number and a valid unique e-mail address and also, you must be enrolled for Online Banking.
If you have not enrolled yourself, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call our 24/7 Online Specialist at 1-800-493-7562 to enroll. Feel free to visit us during lobby hours and please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Once you have logged into your Online Banking, you may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment!
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
For the information on PopMoney Payments Services Terms and Conditions, please check out this link: https://go.td.com/2nUP86H. Please note that there may be fees for the use of the above service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
If Person-to-Person Payment is not an option for you or you have a TD Bank Business account, you can still make a deposit to another TD Bank account. There are several ways for you to make deposits into a TD Bank account. One way you could make a deposit would be by visiting a TD Bank location with cash and your sister's account number. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores to find the TD Bank location closest to you. Another way to make a deposit would be to make a check payable to your sister and write “for deposit only” with her account number on the back of the check. Regardless of the option you choose, the deposit can be processed with a Teller in the Lobby or Drive-thru at any TD Bank location. When making the deposit directly into the other account, there is no charge to you.
We hope this helps, Jessica and have a great day!
